About
Welcome to Snooze, an A.M. Eatery located at 711 University Dr E Suite 400, College Station, TX 77840—a vibrant spot that redefines breakfast and brunch. Known for its friendly service, tantalizing dishes, and a lively atmosphere, this eatery has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
The experience begins even before you step inside. On busy game weekends, be prepared for a bit of a wait—around 45 minutes is typical. But as the saying goes, “Snooze you lose!” The anticipation only heightens your appetite for what’s to come. And trust me, once you’re seated, the rewards are plentiful!
As I navigated the menu, I was struck by the generous portions and the commitment to satisfying every palate. For guests with dietary needs, Snooze has options galore, notably the gluten-free menu, which has received glowing reviews from patrons who require such choices. Each dish is crafted to maintain a harmonious balance of flavor, ensuring that nothing overpowers but rather enhances the dining experience.
Jennifer Hamlin lauds the attentive service provided by Caitlin, who not only ensured that refills came without prompting but was also well-versed in menu selections. It’s this kind of dedication that makes dining at Snooze feel special. The ambiance reinforces the warmth, making it ideal for families and friends to gather over giant burritos or the renowned pancake trio—an absolute must-try!
Among the fan favorites is the “Smashed Avocado Benny,” a dish that Jennifer Allen praises, alongside the Protein Trio omelet—both satisfying options that cater to breakfast lovers. Aubrey Brantley fondly recounts a family gathering, pointing out the friendly staff and the large portions that make sharing a joy, even at a cramped table. These elements create a sense of community that’s hard to replicate elsewhere.
Another standout dish featured during my visit was the Monte Cristo toast, perfectly executed with a delightful blend of savory ham and rich cheese, all atop wonderfully toasted bread. Complemented by a refreshing strawberry lavender lemonade, this dish not only tantalized my tastebuds but also provided a visual feast. As Leslie Garcia noted, it’s the kind of meal that lingers in your memory long after you’ve left the table.
In conclusion, Snooze, an A.M. Eatery College Station is more than just a breakfast spot; it’s a haven for lovers of good food and great company. The blend of delicious dishes, attentive service, and a warm atmosphere makes it a top recommendation for anyone looking to enjoy a meal that feels both comforting and exhilarating. Don’t snooze on this gem!
“ If you don't, Snooze you lose! If you are looking for breakfast or brunch, this is the place to go. On game weekends expect at least 45 minute wait. ( same as anywhere else) You can request seating remotely. Once you get in, sooooo worth the wait! Service was great! Caitlin took care of us with smiles. She knew all about the menu. Refills given before asking even during peak time. Food hot & delicious! No over powering flavors! Generous portions to have left over if desired. My husband is a Celiac. No Issues! Gluten-free menu except one item. We ate on patio, very nice. We have many breakfast choices, this went to number one on our list. We will eat there again!#breakfast,brunch,gluten-free ”
“ We loved our recent experience at Snooze. Caitlin M. was so nice and took great care of us. Not to mention the food was delicious. I had the Smashed Avocado Benny while my husband had Protein Trio omelette. ...sooo good!! ”
“ My family and I had a wonderful experience here. We had a party of 8 and the table was a bit small but good thing we love each other! (; I cannot remember our servers name but she was fabulous and had such a wonderful attitude. Everyone was super friendly and helpful when one of the dishes didn’t come out what my dad thought it would be. All the food and drinks were delicious. The burritos are HUGE. The pancake trio or monthly pancakes are definitely worth a try. I have been to other locations and all have been great but this was the best service. Highly recommend for friends and family to go! ”
“ i will seriously be thinking about this meal for the next few days! wait time was estimated at an hour on sunday but they called us back in 20 minutes! our waiter was helpful at recommending dishes and provided quick service i ordered the monte cristo toast with a side salad and the strawberry lavender lemonade my toast was perfectly toasted, and the egg was perfectly cooked! a monte cristo is always a good choice and this one did not disappoint; the ham was savory and the cheese was so rich! the lemonade was carbonated, the fizziness added a refreshing touch i will definitely be visiting again! 10/10 ”
“ I consistently have a great experience here. The special blueberry Danish pancakes this month were spot on and otherworldly. Service is professional and the manager often says hello or goodbye, a nice touch. I usually bring people here when visiting from out of town. ”
“ Second time I’ve eaten here while traveling. I arrived around 8 a.m. and was seated within a couple minutes. Had the cheddar jalapeno omelet (trying to stay Keto) and it was very good. They allowed grits on the side and they were possibly the best grits I’ve ever had. Just plain with butter. (I know, no corn on keto, so I didn’t eat all of them, cheated a little...I figured it was better than having bread). The spicy berry sauce was quite tasty, but am avoiding sugar per Keto. They bring the food out promptly! Service is nice. Appreciate the military veteran discount. Recommended. ”
“ Love going to snooze! I rarely eat out as it gets expensive as someone with a gluten allergy. But I always make sure to order some to-go to be able to enjoy at home. Wish they were open for dinner too. The variety their menu has if perfect for any cravings you may have. The seasonal options are always delicious as well. ”
“ We had an outstanding breakfast here and it was worth the long wait. The blood orange mimosa was a treat and my family said their meals were delicious (eggs Benedict and avacado toast with poached eggs). I had the bacon but different which is on a whole other level of delicious and amazing. I also had the OMG french toast and it was very tasty with amazing syrup and sauce, but would be better with more traditional French toast bread and not something like cake as this was. Service was very friendly and they have an outdoor patio you can sit at that is dog friendly. The menu is huge and I would return again for sure. Bad part of eating here is the parking lot is about a tenth of the size it needs to be. You can park across the one way street in the Hilton lot though which will be far less stressful than circling for a spot in the traffic jam. ”
